Our Services
Located in Co Kildare, Savannah House is a respite facility which provides overnight stays to young people who are living at home with parents or in a stable care arrangement.
At Savannah House, our dedicated staff focus on offering young people a recreational yet educational retreat. We prioritise nurturing life and independent living skills while fostering positive, pro-social behaviours.

Savannah House has welcomed over 2,500 children from across Ireland since opening its doors in 2011.
Beyond supporting youth, our facility extends respite to parents, providing a welcoming, homely environment that encourages constructive family engagement.
Here, we facilitate parental guidance, aiming to enhance parenting skills and promote positive family dynamics.
Savannah House has four large bedrooms, four resource rooms fully equipped with various activity opportunities, a comfortable lounge area and fully equipped kitchen.
Each year it enables close to 400 young people to overcome some of the challenges they face in their daily lives, giving them a life-changing opportunity to discover who they can be.
This is enabled through a wide range of activities, both indoor and outdoor, including:

At Roscor, children are given the opportunity to enjoy more than 50 fun water and land-based activities, which act as a conduit for the delivery of life-changing psychological and social care interventions.

Kinnahalla creates a peaceful atmosphere which is ideal for the interventive work we undertake with individuals, families and groups.

At Oakport, our respite care spans up to three nights, offering vital relief for young individuals and, in certain instances, their families, enabling them to temporarily step away from the overwhelming pressures they encounter daily.

The first time I saw Savannah House I couldn’t believe my eyes. I didn’t think that I deserved a place like this – somewhere I could have a bed to sleep in and my own bedroom. I could go to sleep, and stay asleep because I didn’t have to be afraid.
