Supporting Children & Families
Linx
The Linx programme was developed in response to the needs of young people aged 13-17 years who have been assessed as 'high risk' and require intensive community-based support. Support is also provided to the families of these young people to enable parents/carers to better manage the behaviours of the young person. Linx is funded by the Health Service Executive in Ireland and is currently provided in Dundalk, Drogheda and Cavan regions.
In Northern Ireland the programme is available in the South-Eastern Health and Social Care Trust area, operating from projects in Newtownards and Lisburn.
