Intensive Support Fostering
Extern provides a range of programmes across the island of Ireland working with children and young people aged between 8 and 18. Our programmes range from early intervention and prevention, diversion through to working with children within the care system.
Providing an intensive support to young people aged 12-18, who are in a fostering placement and who are at risk of requiring secure accommodation. The project works in conjunction with the Fostering Team in the South-Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, providing support to young people in foster placements whilst the Trust support the foster carers.
