About the service:
Innis Centre and Dismas House deliver bespoke housing and support services to individuals who have been through the criminal justice system and who are also experiencing homelessness.
A key barrier and inhibitor to the successful and sustained resettlement of individuals with a history of involvement in the criminal justice system is recidivism and a return to previous offending behaviour.

Key Worker - Timeout Project
Salary:Grade 5 salary scale: £23,630 - £30,109 per annum pro rata. For Bank Worker hourly rate is £12.
Hours:Residential - 48 hours per shift
Location:Roscor Youth Village, Enniskillen (residential facility) and/or Spencer Road, Derry/Londonderry (office base)

We are currently looking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced Key Workers to support the current service and potential growth in our Timeout Project based at our Roscor site. The opportunities available will be for permanent, temporary or bank contracts.
About the service:
The Time Out programme meets the needs of young people (8-17) and their families by providing an alternative to placement for 4 days and 3 nights, social, educational, cultural and recreational break at an Extern youth facility.
Time out staff engages the child or young person in a range of activities and can help him/her examine lifestyle issues while the social worker intervenes with the carers thus allowing the child or young person to return to their living arrangements with the crisis being averted.
Overnight allowance of £83.36 per night (potential £8k of additional annual income to that of your basic annual salary pro rata).On average full time staff carry out 32 shifts per annum after annual leave. This residential working pattern can allow for beneficial work life balance.

The Community Crisis Intervention Service (CCIS), is a community-led initiative, which responds to individuals who are observed to be in distress and potentially vulnerable, and who may be at risk of suicidal behaviour. The service provides a timely (within approx. 30mins), non-clinical, community response to individuals experiencing social, emotional or situational crisis.
